PROPOLIS
produced by the activity of bees, mainly composed of resinous secretions that bees collect on trees (poplars, firs, birches, etc.) and then mix with saliva and wax. Bees use this substance in their hives both as a building material and as an antiseptic.
DROSERA
(Drosera Rotundifolia) has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, broncospasmolytic and secretolytic properties exerted by naphthoquinone plumbagina.
The plumbagina is also able to exert an anti-inflammatory activity through an action mechanism that foresees the inhibition of the synthesis of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins.
HEDGE MUSTARD
(Sisymbrium officinalis) also known as “grass of the singers” owes its herbal reputation to the alleviation of throat inflammation, resolves hoarseness and aphonia resulting in laryngitis, pharyngitis and acute and chronic tracheitis, and generally the irritation of the upper airways.
ECHINACEA
the three main species of Echinacea : Narrow-leaf coneflower (Echinacea angustifolia), Pale Purple coneflower (Echinacea Pallida) and Purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) have antiviral and immunostimulant properties due to glycoproteins but especially to polysaccharides.
The antibacterial properties, on the other hand, are due to the essential oil, rich in terpenes, however present in low quantity.
The medicinal properties of Echinacea are stimulants and enhancement of the immune system especially against colds, bacteriostatic, virustatic and anti-inflammatory.
VITAMIN C
has an immunostimulant, anti-inflammatory and antiviral action. Activates white blood cells and the production of chemical mediators that control the immune response.
